King Fear - The Wickedest Man

Op 27 september zal het album "Frostbite" van de Duitse black/death metal band King Fear uitkomen. Van dit album is de track "The Wickedest Man" alvast online verschenen.

[Mål Dæth] "During the songwriting process of 'Frostbite' we came up with the idea of writing a song about 'The Wickedest Man In The World', Aleister Crowley. As we have created a concept album which is dedicated to the great tradition of mountaineering, we felt the need to tell this story. Crowley was not only an occultist, magician and important figure for the satanism of the 20th Century, he also was a passionate climber. In the 1920s he went on expeditions to the highest mountains in the world. His attempted ascent of K2 and Kanchenjunga in the Karakoram was revolutionary at his time.In our eyes Crowleys life represents the perfect cross between the hellfire below and the frozen hell 8000 meters above in the 'death zone'."
