Battle Beast tekent bij Nuclear Blast
De nieuwste aanwinst voor Nuclear Blast is wederom een Finse band geworden. Battle Beast uit Helsinki heeft een deal getekend met het label voor het aankomende album. De band bestaat sinds 2008 en heeft o.a. meegedaan aan de Wacken Open Air Metal Battle 2010 en gewonnen. Hieruit volgde dan ook logischerwijs een platen deal. Een reactie van Andy Siry, hoofd van A&R Nuclear Blast: "Young, dynamic but still deeply rooted in traditional heavy metal – BATTLE BEAST breathe new life into the scene and rekindle the sound of the 80s with a fulgent livery. The well-deserved victory at the W:O:A Metal Battle 2010 was the first important step to which we want to live up by supporting these up-and-coming talents energetically. We’re looking forward to the cooperation!".
Het album "Steel" zal aankomende 27 januari uitkomen via het label. Ongeveer 2 maanden later zal de band met label genoten Nightwish op tour gaan.
